PB TOWAGE the the new players in Newcastle Harbour-ric woods photography

Thanks to the new players in town PB Towage, our studio was Newcastle Harbour and my subjects were the Ocean Caesar a 288 meter bulk carrier ( that's longer than 2 rugby fields) and Pacific Basins 4 Newcastle based tug boats . The brief was to line them all up and capture a panorama.Now that was a "group shot" that had me standing/boating way back..... At the end of the session one of the captains suggested that he power the tug towards our camera boat for a great shot, I have to tell you we had to get on the gas to stay in front....serious horsepower is hidden in these tugs..... We love this job www.ricwoods.com

The search for Newcastle's Cutest Kid for 2013 is over..

The search for Newcastle's Cutest Kid 2013 was a wonderful event and here are the judges selections. It was an extremely difficult task for our judges.
We had the opportunity to meet some wonderful families and fabulous children, thank you to all who participated and to our judges. We were pleased to be able to provide a studio portrait session and a print at a greatly reduced price for families who might be on a tight budget.
NEWSFLASH !!! For all those that missed in in 2013 or were outside the 50 km limit there is great news. The search for OUR CUTEST KIDS will be on again in 2014....AND.... we have extended the search area. Keep watching ric woods photography on face book for details....
